Looking for a reliable 5 row garlic planter for your farm? The Garmach MGP-5R is a tractor-mounted garlic and onion planting machine featuring a mechanical belt system with manually fed planting cups. Designed for small and medium-sized farms, it offers straightforward operation, adjustable planting settings and a durable mechanical construction.
The MGP-5R is suitable for growers planting garlic, onions and selected bulb crops. With five planting rows in a single pass, it helps organise planting operations efficiently while giving operators direct control over the feeding of individual cloves and bulbs.
The machine uses a mechanically driven conveyor belt fitted with 50 × 50 mm planting cups. Operators manually place garlic cloves or suitable bulbs into the cups while the tractor moves through the field.
The belt system carries the planting material towards the planting mechanism. This arrangement allows operators to handle cloves of different shapes and sizes and check the feeding process during planting.
Unlike an automatic garlic planter, the MGP-5R requires manual loading of the planting cups. Its mechanical drive operates without electronic control systems.
